A variety of support services are available to students.
The Office of Career Development provides students with career counseling, assistance with internship opportunities, and other job-oriented programming.
Health Service is an on-campus clinic which provides medical and counseling services to full-time students. They also sponsor an annual flu shot clinic.
The HelpDesk can troubleshoot and repair software related computer problems, refer hardware repairs to a certified technician for resolution and assist you with protecting your computer against spyware, adware and viruses. You can also purchase some basic computer accessories such has flash drives, ethernet cables, and SD cards at the HelpDesk.
Intercultural Affairs is committed to creating an inclusive environment essential for all students cultural development and academic success. This Office also oversees the Safe Space Program, which is a nationally recognized program that provides educational training designed to support and create a network of allies for the Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Gay, and Transgender (LGBT) community on-campus.
The Global Education Office provides international and intercultural educational experiences for all Washington College students and seeks to foster global engagement and international competency campus wide. GEO promotes and facilitates study abroad for Washington College students and supports all visiting exchange and matriculating international students through mentorship programming, intercultural campus activities and off-campus trips.
The OAS provides academic support services including peer tutoring, academic success seminars, and individual appointments to help students become active and independent learners.
Disability services are provided through the Office of Academic Skills. The OAS handles all accessibility accommodation requests for individuals with disabilities according to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADA AA) of 2008, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended).
Student Affairs provides vision and direction for programs and services that ensure a high quality student experience outside the classroom in support of the mission of Washington College to develop graduates with high moral character, courage and leadership.
Washington College Central pk彩票 offer on campus mail services as well as package services to its students. You can find Central pk彩票 in the Casey Academic Center on the first level under the stairs. The office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Central pk彩票 is the place where students should come to pick up their mail, send mail, purchase stamps and mailing supplies and receive their incoming packages. Students can also bring outgoing packages to ship off campus to this office. Central pk彩票 also offers the purchase of shipping through USPS, UPS and FedEx. You can also bring pre-paid labeled shipments for USPS, UPS and FedEx to our office to send out. Acceptable means of payment in Central pk彩票 are cash or credit card. We do not accept student IDs as payment.
Students can also utilize the Chestertown US Post Office if they prefer which is located at 104 Spring Street here in Chestertown, MD.
